Tips on Writing Better

Dear Students,

Noticing your blog entries for the past three posts, I do see some improvement. However I would like to share a few tips on how to write better as I notice some common errors on your articles.

1) Please pay attention to the subject-verb agreement. Remember, when you use singular subjects, your   verb must be a singular verb.

2) Many of you still do not write your articles in paragraphs. Using paragraphs will help you organize your article. It will also interest the readers to read more.

3) I have also noticed that you are still not using the proper tenses when writing your sentences. Please take note of the tenses (present, past, future, etc)  you use when constructing your sentences.

My favourite sport

    The sport that I like to play the most is rugby.I always play it every evening with my friends in the hostel and we played at rugby field.I started to play this sport when I am at Form One when the senior at that time called all the Form One batch to learn the basics of playing rugby.From that time,I am getting to like the sport more.
   Rugby is a very fun sport to play even you will get some injury during or after the game.When you had tackle one of your opponents,you can feel the satisfaction in yourself.This game also needs intelligence to win a match. So not only the big-sized player can win,but also the small-sized ones.
   The history of rugby is originated from an incident in 1823 when a man named  William Webb-Ellis picked up the ball in a football game and run with it.Because of the accidental origin from him,the first World Cup trophy was named before him.The first football were written by Rugby School pupils.
   New Zealand is the best rugby team in the world but they have other talented         
opponents like South Africa,Australia,Wales and Fiji.Rugby union is played in 100 continents around the world and there are 118 by the year 2011.
   The first rugby World cup was held in 1987,and the winner will receive the Webb-Ellis cup.It is held once in every four years.

  i like to play badminton because it's the only sport that i'm good enough..hehe .I started to learn play badminton since i was five years old.my dad taught me how to play it .At first i hate to play it because the shuttle keeps going down,down,down and down.I don't know how to play it well so i decide not to play it .But one day my brother asked me to play with him but i refused.
       i told him that i'm not good at playing badminton but he kept asking me to play with him which make me so annoyed!!then he told me that he can taught me how to play it well.Then i started thinking  that maybe when i learned badminton with him i can be a good player just like him so , started on that day every evening i will go out with him and played badminton so that i can be good in this sport.
        After a month, i could play good enough which make me felt so proud of myself and it gives me a lesson that in order to achieve what we want we must keep trying and never give up!! I LOVE BADMINTON!! thank you my brother because you kept taught me eventhought it is hard .

rugby game

          Everybody know that our school was one of the famous school rugby in Pahang. Other than Integrasi Kuantan and Semsas,SHAKS was the third school good in rugby.I also play rugby for this school.Last week, our school had send a group of rugby player for MSSD tournament at Semsas.Our school got third place in that game.Three of SHAKS rugby player got a Kuantan player.If you try to play this game,I am sure you also like to this game.
           The international rugby player I like the most is Jonah Lomu which is play for New Zealand or its glamour name All Black.He play as a winger.I very like him because if the ball with him,I am sure he will make TRY.He also a best player during 2008 in World Cupp.I am sure if I work hard,I can be like him too.To become like him I must always training take care of my self and do the best during the tournament.Rugby is one of the SHAKS niche,so I must work hard with my friends to make sure that rugby game is still at the top best game in this cluster school.
            Rugby is sports heaven to me because it has many elementthat make it exiyinag for players like fast running,towering kicking,fearless tackle and always the sanse of danger,especially when huge bodies start crashing each other.Even though full of danger and I also already had broken leg because of this tough game but I still love it till now.I will never satisfied play this game.THRUST ME........

MY NAME IS KHAN

       Shahrukh Khan!!He was one of my favourite actor.I am started to enthuse him since I was a childhood when I watched Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.I will cut his picture and stick it on the wall.One day,my brother said that Shahrukh Khan is a devil like ghost and I started to believe him.On that day,I am stop to like him.Day to day I am keeping growing up and started to know what is true and what is wrong.Then,I know that my brother was lied to me about Shahrukh Khan.What a fool I am but it quiet funny when I think back about it.So,I just continue to enthuse him.The way that brought his character in any love bollywood film make many women fall i love with him.
       Oh,I am so sory.I keep talking about my self until forget to introduce about Shahrukh Khan.Okay,let me tell you all some information about Shahrukh Khan that I got from Wikipedia.SRK was born on 2 November 1965 to Muslim parents.He was growing up in Rajenda Nagar and attended  St. Columba's School where he was accomplished in sports, drama, and academics. He succesfuly won the  Sword of Honour, an annual award given to the student who best represents the spirit of the school. SRK later attended the Hansraj College and earned his Bachelors degree in Economics then he pursued a Masters Degree in Mass Communication at Jamia Millia Islamia, he later opted out to pursue a career in Bollywood. He also attended the National School of Drama in Delhi.After graduating with a Bachelor's degree in economics, he started his career appearing in theatre and several television serials in the late 1980s and later made his film debut in 1992 with Dewanna. Early in his career he was recognised for his unconventional choice of negative roles in film..
         Eleven of the films he has acted in have accumulated worldwide gross earnings of over 1 billion and he had received many awards such as Filmfare Best Actor Award,Filmfare Critics Award for Best Performence,Filmfare Best Villain Actor and many more.Shahrukh Khan is considered to be one of the biggest movie stars, with a fan following claimed to number in the billions. In 2008,Newsweek named him one of the 50 most powerful people in the world.Besides become a movie stars,SRK is atelevision presenter, a regular stage performer, and a social activist.Moreover he is the owner of two production companies ,Dreamz Unlimited and Red Chillies Entertainment..Thats make him became a success man.I hope when I grow up I can be success women like him.
       

Idol

   My favourite personality is my father Mr. Anuar Bin Mohd Yatim. Since he was small, he very naughty but smart in his studies. In secondary school, he was a prefect and playing in the football team. He was very dedicated in his responsibility when do the duty. So, all the teachers were trust him. When he was studied, he will pay full attention in the class. He wanted the best result in his examination. Among the football player, he was the active one. besides, until now, he still playing football with his friend and with my brother. But, my father does not further his studies to Egypt because my grandmother not have money to support him.

    Then he decides to work as a chef and start looking for many recipes. He go all over Pahang to find suitable teacher for him and learn to cook anything. but, my father weakness is cooking the Western Food. Although he faces many challenges in his life, he still learning. After many years, he opened just a small stall then expand to a restaurant. Thank God, he has succeed now.
